Why AI agents need a privacy indicator

Your phone lights a dot when the camera turns on. Your PC shows nothing when an AI agent reads your files. That gap is the problem Senture exists to close.

Modern phones made privacy visible. A small dot appears when an app uses the camera or the microphone, and nobody has to read a manual to understand it.

PCs never got that moment for AI. Yet AI on the desktop now does far more than answer questions. Agents open files, read the clipboard, take screenshots and call cloud services on your behalf. Most of the time that is exactly what you want. Sometimes it isn't, and today you have no way to tell the difference.

Three lights, one glance

Senture gives the PC its privacy indicator for AI, in the form of Sentry, a guard dog that lives in your menu bar or system tray:

  • Calm. AI is idle or running only on your device.
  • Alert. An approved app is talking to a cloud AI service right now.
  • Bark. Something you didn't approve reached for sensitive data, and Sentry stopped it.

Red is earned. Sentry stays quiet until something actually matters, so when it barks, you listen.

Put the AI on your PC on a leash.

Senture is free for individuals on Windows and macOS.
